Repression against indy outlets
Great progress has been made in freedom of the press for dissenting U.S. outlets since the 1960s when the FBI and local police engaged in violence, harassment, frameups against "underground weeklies." But harassment of indy media continues, as in Minnesota during the 2008 GOP convention.
